Identity Design

What you do know: That anything involving your brand, logo, stationery, business cards, etc, is called your identity because of the repeat visuals and language used. Over time your audience begins to recognize this as your identity, what they remember you as and how to visualize you. This is not only important for your business cards or website but especially important to keep in sync over all your collateral, advertising and messaging so that together with your mission, the products/services you sell, and overall report are recognized as a whole to be your brand.

What you may not know: That companies offering to do work in this arena really don't have marketing experience.

What I offer: My method in identity design usually begins by understanding your company, your short-term and long-term goals, and all touch-points you may have with your customers/audience. I keep your general marketing strategy in mind to focus in on the most important marketing channels you will be using (be it web, print, radio, social media, etc) and develop this visual identity, a logo, to go along with everything your company is about. We can continue on from there to develop a visual strategy to use along with the logo, branding guidelines, color palettes and overall consultation on how to use your identity within certain media channels. What I offer depends on how large of a project this is, whether it will be for a new start-up company or is a re-branding of an established company; usually the larger the company or how many years in business determines the cost, but pricing starts with a basic logo and consultation.

What I won't ever do: I won't use confusing language when explaining projects, I will not clutter my website with thousands of meaningless words to help garner search engine traffic, I will never ignore your emails, and I won't ever bill you for my mistakes.
